I always appreciate a mix if possible. Whatever that artist wants to do. Starting from scratch or jumping into a painting with the composition already set are all good to watch.

I caught some of it too ... the girl with the lamp. It was interesting to watch for sure! The painting is beautiful as well and I loved the overall colours.

I also like to see the menus and layer windows so I can follow the process and maybe learn a new way to do something. ;)

I find that a mixture is good, the thing is that you can not always start from the beginning :D

start from scratch :] i don't mind if the sketch is already done, but i'd like to see the painting process from the beginning. are you thinking on livestreaming? that'd be awesome! i'm too shy to livestream, people'd be watching me make mistakes and stuff lol

And I'd very much like to see you livestream! Don't be scared of it tho!:) It's very motivational and fun too:D

Haha don't think so at all! It always interesting to watch both slow and fast artists livestream, actually I prefer the slower ones, cuz then I follow the progress better. Uhm, about interesting livestreams, I've only done one, and I think it sucked, so I might not be the right person to ask this. Music tho, is a good thing to play while streaming!

lol i make many mistakes before i get something to look right, i'd feel flustered to make those mistakes with people watching me live xD but yeah, i'll see if i livestream in the near future :]

Ahahah! You saw me livestream right? Many mistakes! I mean, it's bound to happen. But don't do it if u feel it'll disturb your workflow, no pressure:)

I like letting the artist do their own thing. Let's say it's you doing the stream. I wouldn't want you to feel (lack of a better word) pressured to pay attention to one certain part of your drawing process. Cause when you're pressured, things don't turn out as normally as they would when you're not.
Not sure if my point is getting across, orz;

Ah.
Just do your own thing, enjoy it, and pray that procaster doesn't decide to be a fuck up while you're streaming. xD

Though I do find that streams are most fun when the artist interacts with their viewers. It's amazing the conversations that manage to strike up.

I would hate seeing an artist do what I tell him / her to do. Just leave the artist do his / her own stuff and let's be grateful for allowing us to take a sneak.

Yeah well, if the artist starts livestreaming on say for example an almost finished piece it can't possibly be more interesting than seeing more of the progress?

I personally am after works in progress rather than finished pieces, because of the freshness of the work. As soon as it gets cleaned up, something gets ireemediably missing from the original concept.

All of the above, mixing it up.
Also either talking or listening to music is much better then silence. If the audience doesn't like the music they can just mute.

But if the artist feels for some silence, thats ok. But some sound is better:B
