Ninjas - Commission by Viccolatte Ninjas - Commission by Viccolatte
I did this splash art for Unrestrained Games a while ago, thought I'd share with you lovely dA people:) It was quite a fun and challenging project, and I'm rather proud of the results.

I really love the cool shading and just the general cools and warms that you have captured in both figures. Cool shadows where the figure is about 3/4 or 4/5 covered in shadows and 1/4 or 1/5 actual/normal lighting are really hard to paint. And the metal texture is really amazing.

Some small critiques I would point out is that it feels as if the claws on his left hand are floating instead of grounded. Perhaps have shadows with thicker edges closer to the tip of the claws and they gradually get blurrier the further they are from the ground. Another would be to slightly darken the edges on the older man's left side of his head since it seems to flatten into the background. Just some suggestions.

Really great painting!
